The Smart Chrono SL 8 not only impresses with its neat appearance, it also delivers excellent sound performance in all situations. This is ensured by the precisely tuned Class D amplifiers with 350 watts of power per speaker, the two long-throw woofers with 160 mm double-cone titanium cones, the 160 mm mid-range specialist with wave surround and the fine-resolution tweeter with 25 mm aluminium oxyceramic. This quartet of loudspeakers operates in a very solidly constructed cabinet with internal bracing and strategically placed damping material, which ensures optimal resonance.
Highlights of the Smart Chrono SL 8
Each loudspeaker has 350 watts of power amplifier output from modern Class D amplifiers. In the low and mid-range, the slim bass-reflex floor-standing loudspeakers are equipped with the technically and acoustically excellent titanium membranes. At their side is our highly acclaimed 25 mm tweeter with ceramic dome tweeter and powerful drive unit, which has excellent radiation characteristics due to its transmission front plate. The screwless Diamond-Cut aluminium rings not only provide a visual highlight, but also increase the stability of the tweeter, midrange and bass drivers. The modern base construction with elaborately crafted spacers in cone shape and downfire bass reflex port, together with the double-cone bass drivers with continuous diaphragm surface, ensures a modern, tidy look. The Smart Chrono SL 8 is given the final visual polish by the white or black lacquered cases in a silk matt finish.

You can use the Smart Chrono SL 8 as a stereo speaker in the classic manner and combine it with other speakers from the Canton Smart family as you wish. In the twinkling of an eye, you can create a 4.0 home cinema system that requires no wiring. The center channel is created virtually, with precise dialogue reproduction and the best speech intelligibility from the mid-range. Canton's stiff Titanium Double Cone diaphragms not only ensure a tidy appearance, they also guarantee dynamic bass reproduction with the highest precision and the best timing. - Pentru performante optime este necesara pozitionarea boxelor la o distanta de minim 30-40cm de peretele din spate pentru boxele cu bass-reflex in spate, pentru cele cu bass-reflex in fata, recomandam pozitionarea la o distanta de 10-20cm fata de peretele din spate.
- Boxele vor ajunge sa functioneze in parametrii recomandati de producator, dupa minim 50 de ore (ideal 100 ore) de functionare la volum mediu. In aceasta perioada de timp, de “rodaj a boxelor”, sunetul va fi la inceput ceva mai artificial, bass-ul nu va fi inca controlat, inaltele rigide iar vocile usor retinute, pe masura ce boxele vor functiona, veti remarca cum bas-ul devine mai controlat, mai prezent si mai voluminos, vocile si sunetele medii devin naturale si mai echilibrate, iar inaltele devin rafinate si detaliate. Exista boxe care necesita un „rodaj” mai amplu de minim 300 de ore mai ales in cazul celor care au difuzoare de kevlar, carbon sau alte materiale de acest tip. Boxele care se „rodeaza” cel mai repede sunt cele care au difuzoare de celuloza.
